jeune artiste burkinabè (burkina faso) en autoproduction, réside actuellement en allemagne. issue d’une famille mélomane, dans laquelle, de sa grand-mère à ses frères, tout en passant par ses parents, ont tous pour passion la musique ! pas donc surprenant que féenose aime chanter dès son plus jeune âge. c’est au lycée qu’elle commença à s’exprimer dans les soirées culturelles, ce qui lui permet de saisir le micro et faire découvrir ses textes aux allures hip-hop tout en y mettant sa touche musicale personnelle afin de crée son style. sa participation à l’album épitaphe de smockey (artiste burkinabè), avec la chanson les moutons la lancera un peu plus dans le milieu musical hip-hop burkinabè.

pas à pas féenose compose seule ses chansons ainsi donc son 1er album da wou wô, tout en comptant sur le soutien de sa famille, ses proches et des collaborations artistiques. ses chansons teintées de rap/hip-hop/rnb parlent de son enfance, son pays & ses origines au burkina faso (afrique de l’ouest) et de ses sentiments. à travers ses textes tels que da wou wô, excision (silence) ou encore orphelin (featuring fuza junior)» elle raconte des histoires et rêves. cet album de 10 titres est disponible en vente digitale sur sur itunes, amazon…

le 19/10/10, féenose fait enfin la sortie officielle physique du 1er album da wou wô à la presse burkinabè ainsi qu’au bbda (bureau burkinabè des droits d’auteur) pour ainsi présenté à son peuple le fruit de son 1er autoproduction qu’elle a initié depuis des années.

sans maison de production, ni label, avec le soutien, les encouragements de certains fans qui l’ont découvert sur internet & des proches qui lui ont fait des dons financiers, elle s’est mise à l’autoproduction de son 2nd album albinos qui vient de sortir officiellement le 10 décembre 2011. un 2nd album qui représente beaucoup plus la direction musicale que féenose s’est cultivée au fils des années. repartie à la source africaine, elle enregistre cet album entre ouaga (burkina faso), conakry (guinée) et mannheim, vierheim (allemagne), avec l’apport des sonorités africaines assorties à celles occidentales. une musique de métissage qui détermine bien l’artiste. des collaboration avec des artistes comme mister yopi (burkina faso/guinée, ex-Ravayak membre du groupe la censure au burkina faso) sur le titre ami-ennemi, humanist (france/burkina faso) une composition de blingstef (canada/burkina faso) sur le titre ta voix et la mienne, co-auteur sur un texte de mickael sutter (france) beautiful lady, mc libéral aka patrick (allemagne) sur le titre échange culturel. l’artiste dédie cet album aux albinos, pour lutter contre la discrimination et crime faits aux albinos. STOP À LA DISCRIMINATION CONTRE LES ALBINOS ! entre autre féenose se confie sur son lourd vécu de victime d’excision à travers le titre confidence pour ainsi crier « STOP À L’EXCISION » à travers se témoignage poignant !

born on september 10th 1982, in ouagadougou (capital of burkina faso), she grew up within a family where the parents were already very passionnate about music. her paternal grandmother (still alive) with whom she lived for a few months, would hum with a soft and honeyed voice, traditionnal samo (her ethny) songs. at a very young age, her brothers transmitted to her the hip-hop virus. she truly discovered her passion for music in high school, where people started to discover her in cultural evenings. we have to mention that during this period, she had already began to write her own lyrics for songs and rap, natural since her style flirts between rap and singing. in 2001, her encounter with the burkinabè rapper smockey, resulted in a feat. on the title les moutons (the sheep) of his first album called épitaphe (epitaph). in 2002, followed the beginning of her first album that would be made on a long period of time. at the same time, she had her studies and she got her bep (diploma of professionnal studies) and her bac pro in bureaucratic/secretarial field of study, successively in 2004 and 2005. in 2005, collaboration in feat. on the album of one of her friend, sutong nooma (more known under the name of det fantama), on the title méfies-toi (be ware).

in october 2005, the recording of her first album is finally completed. on this opus, there are feat. with the following artists: fuza (ex-member of the band ardiess), busta gaeenga (burkinabè rapper) and kaidan gaskia, the famous rap band from niger. album in auto-production that was created on the course of years (just to tell you how she has a patience of gold). thanks to the contribution of her family (toé & co.) and people close to her like denis dardaine, omar ballan of the showbiz resto-bar of ouaga, the avip & da exsound studio, fuza, joël ilboudo, philipp krebaum, kaidan gaskia and busta gaeenga… this album was born. the lyrics talk about poignant subjects such as, excision, the place of the african woman but also of day to day subject like love.

for all of you who are wondering what féenose means, here is the definition given by the artist: “my assumed name means that I believe in a good fairy (in french, fairy means fée) who is guiding my steps in this difficult musical world and who gives me a feline and phenomenal strenght to go forward. all of this forms FÉENOSE, with of course, the se marking the feminin in french.”
